BEHAM Hans Sebald (Nuremberg 1500 - Frankfurt 1550). Jared. 1530. Engraved wood. One of the 10 plates of the series of the Patriarchs of the Old Testament with their wives and children. Proof of the 5th state out of 5, without the text, on old filigree laid paper (two-headed eagle surmounted by a crown, close to Lighters n° 281 to 288). Posthumous print from the end of the 16th century. Reference : Bartsch n° 79. Provenance: red stamped mark from the collection of Henri Ledoux (20th century). 24.5 x 20.5 cm (sheet). Condition B.
