Bullet 30 mm in diameter, shell fragment 30 x 40 x 30 mm. Silver-plated metal plaque inscribed: "From the Borodino battlefield / 1812-1912 / to Maurice Hippolitovitch Jeanin / in memory of A. Baltiysky". Maurice Jeanin (1862-1946), a French general and diplomat, took part in the Russian Civil War. In 1912, he was an instructor at the Imperial Nicholas Academy of the General Staff in St. Petersburg. Alexander Alexeyevich Baltiysky (1870-1939), Russian and Soviet military leader, supervised in 1912, as a staff officer, the officers studying at the Imperial Nicholas Academy of the General Staff in St. Petersburg. Морис Жанен (1862-1946), печально известный французский генерал и дипломат, принимавший участие в Гражданской войне в России. В 1912 году состоял на службе в качестве инструктора при Императорской Николаевской Академии Генерального штаба в Санкт-Петербурге.
