Includes nine chapters: Maison du Roy, Gendarmerie, Infanterie, Cavalerie, Hussards, Dragons, Militia, Invalides en Garnison, Compagnies franches, and a final recapitulation folio. In 12, red morocco, spine ribbed with rich fleur-de-lys decoration, boards decorated with triple fillet and fleur-de-lys in each corner, gilt fillet on the edges, gilt edges. Contemporary binding. A precious, finely calligraphed copy, consisting of 112 pages; each page is inscribed in double fillet in bold and light ink. Each army indicates the number and names of regiments, as well as the names of regimental commanders. A very fine copy.
