ENGLISH SCHOOL First half of the 19th century. Paintings of silhouettes of British vessels under glass with maple frame (small accidents), captioned at the bottom in gilt lettering. "H.M.S. Victory, flying the British flag, accompanied by two ships". H.34 - L. 44 cm. Launched in 1765, the Victory, a British first-line ship that was Admiral Nelson's ship at the Battle of Trafalgar, is still preserved today in its drydock.
