TIEPOLO Giovanni Battista (after) (1696 - 1770) - "Sainte Thécla priant pour les pestiférés". 1759. Etching engraved by Lorenzo Tiepolo (1736 - 1776). Ref: Rizzi, n°224 (ii/ii). Proof of the final state, with the artists' names and number 33, on watermarked laid paper (large crowned escutcheon and countermark "crowned letter W"). 70 x 41 cm. Condition B (copper-cut at the foot, small margins to the other sides, a tear of approx. 6cm at the top in the sky formerly restored, two others in the margins, rare small epidermal marks including one to the left in the middle reaching a little to the subject, trace of an old horizontal median fold, a wormhole at the top centered, a few small stains, a printing fold in the sky and rare small stains on the reverse).
