Proof of a print before the reduced wood, the woman in the upper left turns her face to the left. Van Gelder Zonen laid paper. Margins. This work is a fine combination of traditional illustration and Japanese influence. Moreover, in this composition, we can recognize "Suzanne, the author's daughter, in the features of the little girl seen from the front, then aged 13." (Auguste Lepère 1849-1918 by Auguste Vital). 39 x 47.5 cm. Condition A (traces of insolation on verso slightly visible in the margins on recto, subject in good condition).
