MORBIHAN (56) - "Château de JOSSELIN (Morbihan)". 19th century. Sketch in pencil heightened with white gouache, on brown wove paper. Situated in pencil lower right. Preparatory drawing for the lithograph titled "Château de Josselin (Morbihan)", published in the "Galerie Armoricaine", Nantes, Charpentier. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then Nantes (from 1854). 28.7 x 43.5 cm. Condition A (slight traces of handling and lightly oiled).
