JAPAN. TWO round dishes with plain rims, polychrome decoration in the center of a large blue and gold flower, surrounded by two flowering stems and two birds in flight. On the rim, ribbon scroll decoration on an orange and gold background. Reverse mark and three flowering stems. D 26. Late 19th early 20th century.
JAPAN. Two plain-edged plates, one with polychrome decoration, the center featuring a rosette with two phoenixes, surrounded by four panels decorated with flowers and foliage enhanced with gold on an orange-red ground, alternating with blue underglaze decoration enhanced with gold of seascapes. The other is decorated with two white reserves on a background of large polychrome flowers and a bird. 19th century. D: 24.5 cm
