Edition published the same year as the original. It is in this book that Sénac de Meilhan strongly opposes Necker's financial theories, putting forward the importance to be given to the population, the basis of society. Linguet (1736-1794), lawyer and pamphleteer, opposed Montesquieu and the physiocrat authors, developing a theory close to the socialist thought of the following century. Ex libris manuscript of G.
