BARROT Ronan (born in Carpentras in 1973)... - Lot 70 - Eric Caudron
BARROT Ronan (born in Carpentras in 1973) [Untitled]. Painting on strong wove paper, dedicated by the artist "For Donnat" and signed with the initial R on the back. Work executed for the top edition of his catalog written by Eric Vuillard (Prix Goncourt 2017), on the occasion of his exhibition at the Claude Bernard Gallery in 2014. 19 x 10 cm. Condition A (good condition). Ronan Barrot lives and works in Paris. His approach to painting, both in terms of the subjects he tackles and his technical mastery, instantly places him in a filiation with Rembrandt, Titian, Courbet, Manet or, closer to home, Rebeyrolle. His research focuses on light and the intensity of colors, whether it be contemporary or religious subjects, landscapes or vanities. Ronan Barrot has been represented by the Claude Bernard Gallery since 2007, which has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, notably at the FIAC, Art Paris and the BRAFA in Brussels.
