BARROT Ronan (born in Carpentras in 1973) - [Skull]. 2012. Mixed media on canvas (oil paint and collage). Signed and dated "BARROT/2012" by the artist on the reverse. Ronan Barrot lives and works in Paris. His approach to painting, as much by the subjects he tackles as by his technical mastery, places him instantly in a filiation with Rembrandt, Titian, Courbet, Manet or, closer to us, Rebeyrolle. His research focuses on light and the intensity of colors, whether it be contemporary or religious subjects, landscapes or vanities. Ronan Barrot has been represented by the Claude Bernard Gallery since 2007, which has given him numerous solo and group exhibitions, notably at the FIAC, Art Paris and the BRAFA in Brussels. 27 x 22 cm.
