This work is a beautiful combination of traditional illustration and Japanese influence. Moreover, in this composition, we can recognize "Suzanne, the author's daughter, under the features of the girl seen from the front, then aged 13 years." (Auguste Lepère 1849-1918 by Auguste Vital). 39 x 47,5 cm. Condition A (traces of insolation on the reverse side slightly visible in the margins on the front side, otherwise good condition).
