PREPARATORY DRAWING for the lithograph titled "NICE, view from the Villa Venanson," for the album "NICE AND SAVOY" published in 1864 by Charpentier. Inscribed “Nice, view from the Villa Venanson” in gray pencil in the lower left corner. Provenance: Collection of the Charpentier studio, directed by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854 onward). 22 x 31.5 cm.
