One small volume in-4°, full brown calf on wood; cold-stamped with friezes, and gilded with a large iron in the center of the first plate; spine ribbed; red edges; clasps. 19th c. binding, later than the manuscript.
Approx. 300 paper pages, entirely handwritten and notated in black and red ink. Titles in red ink. The manuscript consists of three parts, distinguished by the handwriting and paper.
On the verso of the flyleaf, an illumination on paper drawn in Indian ink and enhanced with watercolor is laminated; it depicts Saint John Damascene writing.
