CÔTES D'ARMOR (22) - "DINAN". 19th century. Original Sketch by Félix Benoist (1818-1896) in graphite, enhanced with white gouache and ink, on wove paper. Located "Dinan" lower left in pencil. PREPARATORY DRAWING for the lithograph entitled "Dinan, Cotes du Nord", for the album "GALERIE ARMORICAINE" published in 1848 by Charpentier. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 7.8 x 12.2 cm. Condition A (good state of preservation).
