Situated "Pont St Louis près / Menton" lower right in pencil. Coated with a dry stamp "M. POTTIN à Nantes / invention et perfectionnement / papier pellée / toile de 2 teintes". Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then Nantes (from 1854). 23.5 x 18.8 cm.
