On the reverse of the canvas the printed mark of the canvas dealer: MATHIEU PICOT / A PARIS. H. 24.5 - W. 32.5 cm. Gilded and molded wood and stucco frame in violin form with foliate scrolls. The painter was inspired here by certain models of young elegant women by Watteau, such as the woman with a fan in the Récréation Italienne (Berlin) or the Divertissements champêtres (London).
