The name of Hercules is inscribed on the tablet at the top of the composition, but this scene shows none of the episodes associated with his life or "labors". It is assumed that this composition depicts Hercules killing the twins Eurytus and Kteatus, who overwhelmed all men in their path with their physical strength. Their death is said to have been discovered by their mother, Molione, accompanied here by fury. 40.3 x 29.3 cm. Condition B (a short tear at lower right reaching a little into the subject, print formerly glued by the upper corners to strong paper, oblique print crease at upper right corner, square line ironed in ink, slight handling marks).
