In the foreground, the engraver depicts Comus, god of pleasures and balls: crowned with roses, drunk with wine and revelry, close to dropping his torch, he slumbers, leaning on his spear at the entrance to a room where a joyous wedding feast is taking place. As the servant leaves the bride and groom's room, flowery, naked dancers whirl around in a round that a prelate vainly tries to stop. 26.8 x 18.8 cm.
