Beautiful impression by Denis du Pré, one of the best printers in Paris at the end of the 16th century, of the six Satyrs of Persia, in the translation of the great scholar Guillaume Durand. From the library of Gustave Mouravit, 1840-1920, a great bibliophile and author of several books on the history of books, with his stamp in mauve ink on the title. Binder's mark TR on verso of flyleaf. A very fine copy.
