Nice proof on laid paper. Printed in the 18th century. Margins. One of the first major prints by Dürer, this work was one of the first to reveal his genius. In making his first large-scale woodcuts, Albrecht Dürer showed that he could soften a block of wood while exuding an unprecedented delicacy. 39 x 28 cm for the subject. 46 x 34 cm the sheet. Condition A (good state of conservation).
