Behind the wall, a large number of church towers can be seen, including the famous Dom Tower. This panorama shows Utrecht before a terrible storm on 1 August 1674 devastated the city. The Municipal Archives of Utrecht holds a copy. The original painting by C. Droochsloot is now in the "Centraal Museum" in Utrecht (inv.305). Small margins. Folded. Very rare. 41,5 x 220 cm approximately. Condition B (some rare foxing and slight oxidation, small margins at the top and bottom, margins on the left and right, rare small printing folds, a small hole on the first leaf).
