This is an amateur collection composed from prints after the letter of the suite of engravings made by Hillemacher for the edition of Molière's Theatre given in Lyon in 1864-1870. With the exception of the portrait-frontispiece, which is the first plate, all the illustrations in this collective are formed from vignettes in the text; we are therefore dealing with a set that is probably unique, made from specially printed plates (after that of the suites in the text, after Brivois).
