- LUILLIER-LAGAUDIERS. Rotterdam, Ian Hofhout, 1726, small in 8°, engraved frontispiece by D. Coster, bradel cloth with hatched edges, green title page. 19th century binding. Second edition (the original is from Paris, 1705). This small work is unusual despite its three editions: little is known about the author, originally from Tours, who undertook this trip to India to accompany his cousin, who was to be married there. His journey lasted eighteen months, from January 1702 to June 1704, and it contains a fairly detailed description of the countries he crossed. The second part on oriental diseases, which has a separate title page, is on the other hand the work of the famous physician Charles Dellon (about 1650-1710), famous for having composed the Relation de l'Inquisition de Goa (1687).
