Wide interlaced border forming like A's; at the top, a golden crown fixed by a screw; in the abyss, a crowned coat of arms similarly fixed; on either side, a figure of Alexander & that of Mary Feodorovna; in the centre, a medallion with the profile effigy of Alexander & Mary Feodorovna, with a legend in Russian whose meaning is: Crowning of Emperor Alexander III and Empress Maria Feodorovna, in Moscow, 1883.
On the back, inscription in English letters: "F. W. Huhn & Co. St Petersburg
