Elemens du Blason Vraye Origine de la Noblesse, 1745; in 12, basane fauve jaspée, spine with ornamented faux-nerves, red morocco title-piece, red edges. period binding (dull caps and corners). Very interesting manuscript collection of 117 pages, written in brown ink on laid paper. It is composed of 22 different chapters such as: "Origin of nobility, Origin of coats of arms, Artificial figures, Heraldic figures, Honorable figures, Monstrous figures". At the end of the volume, is bound an account of the battle of Fontenoy, which took place that same year 1745, handwritten account of 30 pages, and finally the table leaf. Nice copy.
