DEMOUSSY Augustin Luc (Paris 1809 Id. 1880): "Portrait of a man in three-quarter bust". Charcoal and grey wash (unstained). Signed lower right and dated 1847. 25.5 x 18 cm. "Portait de femme en buste". Charcoal, blur, colour and wash. Signed lower left and dated 1850. 26 x 19 cm. Pupil of Louis Hersent and Abel de Pujol, medallist at the Salon of 1837, Augustin Luc Demoussy is the author of the large full-length portrait of Admiral Duquesne kept at the Dieppe Castle Museum (1868)
