- KARR (Alphonse), 1808-1890, writer and journalist: L.A.S., 2 pp in 8°, written to his daughter Thérèse, who was born in the early 1830s. She informed him of her decision to marry. Karr also warns her against Juliette ADAM, the famous Parisian parlour maid. Attached is a card written on both sides, addressed to Ph. Gille, literary editor of Le Figaro, rue Drouot, in which he thanks him for "chopping up" his text!
