MATISSE Henri Emile Benoît (D'APRÈS) (Cateau-Cambrésis 1869 † Nice 1954) - "La grande décoration aux masques". 1953. Colour lithograph (based on a gouache cut-out ten metres long and three metres high, started in 1952 and completed one year later). Nice proof on vellum, printed by Mourlot. Signed with the initials and dated lower right in the plate. Separate unfolded print, before publication in the Revue Verve n°35/36 in 1958. Margins. Good condition. 36 x 96,5 cm. Condition A (Some short tears restored in the margins and rare light browning in the right margin).
