Book of various widows from the Paris area and other places presented to H.S.H. Monseigneur le Duc d'Anguien by his very humble and obedient servant Nicolas Bailly.
Versailles, chez l'auteur, Paris, S. Thomassin, n.d., in-4 oblong (25 x 16 cm), title engraved in a beautiful armoured frame, and 54 views generally signed but not captioned, in 19.5 x 11, 5 cm or 11.5 x 6 cm format, brown basane, spine ribbed, partitioned and floral, red title piece, simple cold-framed on the covers, red edges (contemporary binding). Skillful restorations on the back, hinges and corners, but good example.
